Merry Xmas.
Dec. 25th, 2008 12:06 amI'm listening to the only listenable Christmas album ever recorded.
I'm talking online with people I love.
The kitten is curled up on her head.
On Christmas Day in the morning, I get to sleep late, work out how to use my new iPod Touch, and then play board games. I do not have to deal with my parents, nor do I have to ride out to Martinsville and pretend to be happy to see my seven-months-pregnant sister.
I'm pretty sure this is the true meaning of Christmas.

Date: 2008-12-25 02:45 pm (UTC)I used to wonder why I'd never actually seen the TV special. Now I know: because it has /never/ been released on VHS, DVD, or other home recording. Boo.

Date: 2008-12-25 03:33 pm (UTC)I remember watching Miss Piggy singing, "If you haven't got a penny, then ha'penny will do, if you haven't got a ha'penny then " and bobbing her head for each next word "God bless you!"
