Feb. 14th, 2007 09:13 amToday is Wednesday, February 14, the Feast of St. Valentine*.
Today in history:
On February 14, 1929, gangsters acting on orders from Al Capone gunned down six rival gang members, and an optometrist in the wrong place at the wrong time, in what became known as the "St. Valentine's Day Massacre."
Peace.
Driving in snow is kinda interesting, actually. At least when there aren't too many other people around. Makes getting to work less of a boring trip and more of a challenge.
I suppose eventually other people will get here but I've been pretty much on my own since eight.

I can totally tell you why that screen sucks, though. It's because the programmers didn't want to give it a standard interface and instead chose to add in whatever selectors they felt like. Or maybe that's just the screen I'm currently working on.

Date: 2007-02-14 07:31 pm (UTC)For me it's a combination of a sense of Adventure (me and my car, alone against the elements!) and a general joy at having a boring commute turn into something that requires a bit of thought.
