jazzfishIf this were my college's mascot, instead of the castrated turkey, I might actually show some school spirit.
Teeth: went in to see Dr Ankrum (the elder) a couple weeks ago. Came out of it with three fillings and a barely-avoided visit to Dr Ankrum the younger, so, yay. And also I am now on the waiting list for an actual cleaning, since the hygiene section was booked up a month or so in advance. (Hm. In retrospect I'm thinking I should've just gone ahead and scheduled. Oh well.) It also appears that the abuse I heaped upon Dr Olenyn's head earlier was likely unwarranted, since I think Dr Ankrum just did more or less the same thing. The fillings are still super-sensitive to heat and cold, but my teeth have always been super-sensitive to heat and cold, so it's not a huge change.
TCon: happened, and was once again mostly encompassed by the VileLARP. I enjoyed my character a lot more this time (it's not every day you get to use an accent that encompasses most of eastern Europe), but was somewhat hamstrung by the nonappearance of about half the other players involved in my plot. Not much to be done about that, I suppose. Other than that, got in a game of Caylus and one of Beowulf, saw![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rbandrews and jsciv for the first time in quite awhile, and after far too much effort managed to eat at Zeppoli's with uilos on Sunday evening. So, score.
Is Nothing Sacred?: Oval Office plagiarism / homage of Brit sitcom. Warrants at least a "Heh."
Work has been ridiculously busy, too, but that's a topic for another post. Maybe Monday.
