jazzfishUsually I mail about a zillion people on the 14th reminding them that once I too was an angsty demigoth, but between the dentist and being vaguely sick I wasn't actually home and awake long enough to do so. So in case you're overly cheerful about V-day, remember: last year Charles Schultz died right before it.
If you're morbidly curious, the whole thing started in 1995 when I got to go to a viewing (pre-funeral) for an Order of the Arrow (Boy Scout thing) advisor on V-day. Every year I find a little more information on the Massacre. It's kind of neat, in its own sick twisted way.
Vond's response yesterday was "You look like a devil-priest. Not that that's a bad look for you."
