jazzfish: an open bottle of ether, and George conked out (Ether George)

For those who asked, and those who were curious but didn't: like [livejournal.com profile] uilos I'll be moving to the DC area, because that is where jobs come from. There is technically a nonzero chance that I'll stay in B-burg, but I think the amount of money I'd ask for started out higher than this company would be willing to pay and it's only gone up since then. Plus they've already got one technically-writer / tester.

And oh yes, another thing that will be different When I Move will be the amount of light coming in at the windows. I shall have miniblinds and/or curtains, that I may choose the hours when the harsh rays of the Daystar flood my bedroom. This choice is unlikely to be "from sunup to sundown."

Yeah, because all of us would have rather stayed in blacksburg if it were not for this reason.

well...if I could have made a decent living working for the state, I would have stayed. Also, lab tech @ VT = career DOA.

and thanks!

Yeah, I was just amused. For me, DC isn't where jobs come from, after all (stupid games industry seems to hate places with seasons... :( ) and technically does have MORE jobs total due to the sheer population, so I thought I'd be flippant.
