Who made Steve?: "If God did not make Steve, then where did this uncreature come from? How did Steve come to be?"

The Fall of the Site of Marsha: I really wish I had written this. It is exactly the kind of thing I like.

And that, almost, is the semester done with. Latin exam will be worse than any other grade I've gotten in the course so far but since all those other grades have been 90+ I should still be on track for an A/A-. My Contemporary Fiction final is the worst piece of babbling dreck I think I've ever written to turn in. Still to do: whip creative writing portfolio into shape and turn it in, and ensure courses for summer are properly scheduled [read: go talk to my advisor on Monday or Tuesday].

. . . blah. I'm tired a great deal these days, unless I'm actually out doing something; but the tired makes the getting out less likely. Maybe after work I'll go read by the duckpond or work on my writing. Tomorrow will be housecleaning and laundering.

Right, Mother's day. Thanks, Google. Guess I'll be making a phone call this evening.

Do you find that you need food badly? Because it seems as if your life force is running out.

"Who Made Steve?" Hilarious. So true. Thanks.

"The Fall of the Site of Marsha" Wow, the memories. Time was when website design was exactly like that, wasn't it? (...she said, as if her own non-updated site wasn't a variation still.) And a great adaptation. Again, thanks.

Congratulations on the almost-finished semester.

Well, at least I did *a little* variation to make sure that there would be not much scrolling (http://www.ece.umd.edu/~dilli). Tables were my friends.

I still use the links page and sometimes even update it, but everything else is headed the way of the dodo.

It's been three years since the last time I've heard any joke about where Eve was. That time, it was mocking someone I had a crush on named Steve. Not that this is actually relevant....

Yeah. That sounds about right.
