This is the first year in I don't know how long that I haven't been to the Maryland Renaissance Festival, because I simply don't have a weekend I can afford to take off from classwork.
On the bright side, I'm spending Thanksgiving week visiting my extended family. This will be the first time I've seen most of them in 3.5 years at minimum; probably more like five.
