Accomplished:
  • Made a list of things I need to do. [thanks to [livejournal.com profile] laughin for the reminder that that is an Accomplishment]
  • Finished laundry.
  • Organized Directing notebook and prepped for rehearsal.
  • Did Design Lab project.
  • Studied for this morning's lighting test.
  • Wrote up most but not all of the playwriting critiques.
  • Rotated my bed so that I now have about twice as much usable floor space.
  • Played Prince of Persia and Donkey Konga, both of which rock.

    Go me.

    To do:
  • Finish playwriting critiques.
  • Some writeups for the Directing notebook.
  • HoDaT paper, due next week.
  • Catch up on Ye Booke Logge.

. . . wow. That's a lot less bad than I'd thought it was going to be.

one of my housemates got donkey konga a few days ago and i sat down and played a bit this weekend. based on the amount of time i spend playing ddr i figured i'd be really into it, but it hasn't hooked me yet. maybe it's just because it doesn't get my heart rate up in quite the same way.

Enough people at the office got Donkey Konga that we have 4 bongos, so Friday night I was here until about 8pm banging away. My fingers were all tingly when I was done, and I think we hit at least every song on there (except Bingo and the nursery rhymes) once. Must get game.....

Must also get Katamari Damacy, too...

The guys at work thing that the King of All Cosmos would make a GREAT Halloween costume. They might be right, too. Although I'm not sure that you could (as they joked) actually get all of the stuff for the costume in West Hollywood. The bear belt buckle, sure, and the tight purple pants yeah, but you might have trouble with the ruffled collar and that cape, and you'd DEFINITELY have to make the head thing yourself.....

If you know anyone built right to pull that costume off, send them my way. :) Or at least take lots of pictures.

When ya write a list and such, it helps you realize that you REALLY don't have as much to do as you think you have to do. Good for you for getting things done. When your list is empty, you can come here and I'll give you one too. :)

And it makes you feel like you accomplished much more when you cross things off the list. It's nicely fulfilling.

Most to-do list programs will cross things out when they're checked off the list, just because it feels so good psychologically.
