Shorter George R.R. Martin: I'm not dead, it's still not done, go away.

Off to Origins, at which I will finally acquire Dark Ages: Fae, and probably one or two other things.

I read the Martin page once every month or so. Amusingly enough I hit it two days after his update. :) Poor guy. On the one hand I agree with his assertion about how we wouldn't have wanted to rush Tolkien, but on the other hand, how long does it really take?

:)

Sigh. At least I have Stephenson and Modesitt to tide me over.

Thanks for that link. I never did read books 2 & 3 because the series was incomplete & I'd waited this long anyway... but I picked up book 1 about 2 weeks ago and started to reread it. I guess I'll take my time since I know that 4 isn't ready. :)

AUGH! I had really hoped that it would be out by then end of the month. Silly me. I guess I will need to find other Pennsic reading (my plan had been to save it for then).

Well, at this rate you'll have it just in time for Pennsic 2005 (or maybe 2006)....
