If you're not reading Fafblog [the whole world's only source for Fafblog], I heartily recommend that you start. Satirical political commentary interspersed with utter random weirdness. Like this entry.
"He has abandoned us," says Giblets.
"Like Yahweh in Egypt land," says me.
"Egypt Land is great," says Giblets. "Have you tried the Pyramid Ride? It ducks and swoops twice into Pharoah Lagoon!"
Also, for those of you who enjoy mocking Troy, I bring you Troy in Fifteen Minutes: "Cousin. He's my cousin. Cousin. Totally my cousin. In conclusion: Cousin." Also also, Penny Arcade's take on it.
Unpacking goes slowly, mostly because I haven't bothered to put my computer away yet. My goal is to have everything that's not books dealt with by the time I leave for Atlanta next weekend. This goal may or not be achieved, but either way it's good to have goals. [And something will certainly be done with most of the stuff, though some of the boxes may remain for a Later Time.]
Anybody know of a cheap USB bar-code scanner? I'm seriously contemplating scanning in all my books when I put them on shelves. [Hm. Zarf's page where he details how he did this give me a link to one for $75, which is I guess what I'll wind up with.]
