NINE MEN: Neat rings. . . Hey, didn't Mom die like six hundred years ago?
CELEBRIMBOR: Okay, how about we do three more and call it a wrap?
SAURON: How about I do one more and claim them ALL?
Read from Fox in Socks for voice class today, as fast as possible. Surprisingly fun, and going through and marking all the consonant linkages actually helped me say it better. So, score one for voice class. Anne & I perform the Taming scene on Tuesday for the third time [of four]. It's so much fun to be doing Shakespeare again. . . and with someone else who's having fun too. Perhaps I'll try directing a workshop production of a bunch-of-Shakespeare-scenes next spring.
Bert the manager got terminated Friday morning, so things are a bit shook up at work. No one's quite sure what's going to happen next, who's going to replace him, etc. I find myself unconcerned about the whole thing; either it'll get worse or it won't, either the axe will come down on others of us [unlikely in the extreme] or it won't. On the whole things are unlikely to change at all. Another manager'll be brought in from somewhere else, Mary won't be let go 'cos now Waldens is back to being her only job. Janet might be let go but I doubt it. The less things change, the more they stay the same.
I'm 'bout ready for this semester to be over, but I don't know what'll change except for not having quite so much stuff hanging over my head. *shrug*
