5. Something to do in the next two months [though my plate is pretty full already]

prog: M uses the Spanish words caliente and picante when she wants to specifically refer to a food's temperature-heat or spice-heat (respectively) and that's so handy that I'll start doing it myself, I bet. Ditto.

4. I can't think of anything that you'd be interested in that I know about that you aren't already reading, so I'll just say the group "applefans" as a throwaway answer. And research shows that they've fixed the lack of a delete key... You can now plug in a normal keyboard and set the delete key to forward delete and the backspace key to backspace.
4. Design a board game, and bring it to a state where you can, without embarrassment, show it to other people.

Haven't actually seen Falling Down, though I've considered it an awful lot. As for a game design. . . requires focus and inspiration, and at this time I don't think I want to become one of the Hordes of Icehouse Game Designers. There's enough good ones that barring inspiration mine isn't needed.

Who said anything about Icehouse? I had a concept for a Blade Runner-themed Werewolf-like game the other day. Everyone gets a list of people to kill. Some people are androids, some aren't, and you are only allowed to kill androids if you're a human (you don't know what you are, of course). Still have no clue how it would work though.
