I want a Chainsaw of Natural Selection. [via [livejournal.com profile] idoru via [livejournal.com profile] baranoouji]

I got the part I "auditioned" for. (More like "showed up for." Two parts available, two of us came to the audition. Convenient, no?) The play is exceeding weird. . . Peter Handke's Offending the Audience. It's not precisely a play; more an exploration of what theatre is. Kind of inexplicable, really.

Got to jump my car again today. Multitudinous thanks to some very nice people in the complex.

Oh, life is a glorious cycle of song,
A medley of extemporanea;
And love is a thing that can never go wrong;
And I am Marie of Roumania.

I think meme pollution is the problem, rather than gene pollution. How ethnocentric of me, I know. I've come to realize that the one and only category of people I truly hate is anti-intellectuals.

Would you like to borrow my... um, doohickey that lets you jumpstart a car without other people's help?

The part sounds promising. Good luck with the play!
