Happy new year to all. May it be better than the last one.

I'm all moved in, and have no net access in the new apt yet. So I'm writing this from my parents' place.
The weirdest thing happened yesterday: since the toilet was running more or less constantly, I called the property mgt office (Raines, the same ones E & I had to sue to get our security deposit back a few years ago), and they sent someone over that day to take care of it. Creepy.

I may come up with more actual resolutions later tonight; so far, all I've got is to actually keep up with my Book List this year. To that end I'm going to be doing it on LJ, at [livejournal.com profile] jazzfish_media, and probably listing more than just books. We'll see how long that lasts. (No, there's not much there yet. Soon. Again, probably later tonight.)

New Year's was quite cool. Small but fun. Played a lot of Pac-Man Vs, which is the best free game I've ever seen, and two rounds of In Pursuit. Watched the ball drop. More Pac-Man. Went home and slept. Got up and came here. The end.

Tomorrow is sort of up in the air. Satyrday is Mrs Van Antwerp's memorial service, but after that I'm more or less free; the kicker is that I have to be at work at 12:45 on Sunday. So I guess I'll see what goes on. (Tonight I'm spending time with my family, 'cos it's sort of expected and all.)
