Workshop wasn't so bad. Consensus was that the parts I knew were weak, were weak, and bits of other parts wanted a little more clarification, so I think it can be reworked into something presentable. Now I've just got to whip the fragments of Story #2 (not to be confused with Mambo #5) into shape by Monday. Doable, although most of the work needs to get done today since I'm working eight hours tomorrow and most likely going to Natural Bridge with E and company Sunday.

Still haven't heard back from FinAid, although it's early yet and I probably won't until next Thursday. Still haven't heard back from my advisor yet, which is more bothersome. Guess I'll bug her again on Monday.

That Snapster article is brilliant, but it makes me wonder how recording music will ever benefit the artists again? Or is it based on the old adage that artists get so raped by cd deals anyway that the only way to make money is to play live?
