- 9/29, 7 PM. Politics and Prose Bookstore and Coffeehouse in Northwest DC, for a reading and signing by Mr Gaiman, whose new story collection comes out next week. I'll be getting there by sixish if not before, probably grabbing an early dinner either nearby or picnicking.
9/3010/1. Maryland Renaissance Faire, because there will be Baebes, and also
jude.- 10/2, 7 PM. The State Theatre in Falls Church, for a Gin Blossoms concert. Sushi at the nearby Maneki Neko beforehand.

(Speaking of which, the Making Light thread on Amazon opening up their reviews for auctorial response has some of the best comments I've read there, and that's saying a lot.
