From the future: The Editors give us a sneak peek at the 2015 SATs.

Turned in my 'portfolio' for creative writing just now. (Said portfolio consisting of a one-act I wrote for playwriting last semester and the first poem I've written in ten years.) The semester is now over, at least until grades go up and I find out what precisely the Deal is with design lab. Yeah, I could just go ask the professor, but I'd really rather not talk to her again unless I have to. (If I'm lucky she feels the same way about me.)

Currently having for lunch the worst Kroger sushi I've ever eaten. Normally their stuff is halfway decent (I especially recommend the crunchy shrimp rolls, and the inari; too bad you have to buy cali rolls to get inari), but this is about as bland as it's possible to get. Even the wasabi isn't helping much. I suspect it's all a plot to convince me to go eat real sushi up north.

. . . so, yeah. I find myself with curiously little to do this afternoon. Write Joann Harvill and figure out what I need to do to set up an independent study with her for summer. Maybe clean a bit more. Read, nap, chip away at the booklog. Guess we'll see.

To paraphrase Steven Brust Neil Gaiman talking about Steven Brust, I don't write poems. This is one of the poems I don't write.
