Today has been generally blah. Went to class, turned in Gawain, got three pages shaved off the required number for the class, so that's all good. (Three more to do for the class, plus the 12-15 page Shakespeare paper. About four thousand words to go.) Took Glyndwr down to Long Shop, and we'll see what they have to say. Went to Wal-Mart and acquired gorp fixin's and misc other food for Origins (for which we leave in a mind-boggling nine days). Talked to K.
I feel like I haven't done a singe thing today, though. Part of it's probably the weather... the sky is too apathetic to really solidly rain. Part of it's that I haven't accomplished things on my List-- I haven't worked on papers (taking today as a paper sabbatical), I didn't call the financial aid office to bug them about my award letter, I didn't get around to looking into health insurance. About all I've got to show for today is some food and about half of the video to Kate Bush's "Cloudbusting" downloaded from KaZaA. Oh, and I plugged in my strobe light, because I could.
I need to read the first ten cantos of The Inferno for tomorrow. Maybe I'll also hang up my last poster tonight.
Listening to Steve Winwood's "Back In the High Life Again." Having heard Warren Zevon's cover of this song I will never be able to listen to the original in the same way again.
