Snow and ice
Mar. 31st, 2003 09:27 amBelow freezing, ice on the driveway. If Bliss can get to class from Radford he's a better man than I am.
Weekend: yar. I have the coolest friends ever.
Moved Patrick into his townhouse on Satyrday. Way less effort than I'd been expecting; he got out with only one truckload, and it wasn't even full to overflowing. I remember when I could do that. Moved Ross's corner couch, E's wooden couch, and my new desk in as well, and got the couches set up in the right place.
Sunday I wake up and feed the cats and notice that it's kind of bright through the shades. Almost as if someone had covered the backyard in concrete. Bright, shiny concrete. Yar. Six inches of snow and still falling like there's no tomorrow. Huge flakes, too. So, rather than go to work, I stayed in all day. Tried to grok the rules to Puerto Rico, read Flannery O'Connor, and generally sort out my life, with varying degrees of unsuccess (or, as some would have it, 'failure.')
I probably need to start bugging theatre professors to force-add me into classes soon. Thanks to the brilliance of Tech's coders, the online registration won't recognise a second major, so it won't let you sign up for 'majors-only' classes. Gah.
