Snow snow snow snow snow. The mall opens two hours late. Tech even opens two hours late. Amazing.

Finished _Paths of the Dead_. As a book, it's okay. As the first third of _Viscount_ it's pretty good. Lots of people running around that you have very little idea about. Plus Miska from _Brokedown Palace_ (and _The Gypsy_ maybe). And a very young Morrolan.

The trailer for Equilibrium is up.

Equilibrium is a sci-fi movie starring Christian Bale (the bad guy in Shaft) and Emily Watson. It looks like Farenheit-451 with a hefty dose of action. It opens in Select Theatres tomorrow. One hopes it will open in Less Select Theatres soon.

Christian Bale is not in fact the baddest man alive. But he's way more successful than Keanu Reeves at looking cool while bullets are flying around him.
