of course, the flip side of being able to see a gorgeous sunset by driving over a hill is that if you leave an hour or so earlier the sun is right in your eyes.
i really need to windex the inside of my car. diffraction patterns from all the dust and smears are cool and all, but they make it awfully hard to follow the yellow line.

my copies of _twilight imperium_ and _hope's end_ (expansion) came yesterday. i have no idea how much actual _use_ they'll get, but i have them, for what it's worth.

i have tea at work. actually i've had tea at work for a couple weeks now, but it's only just recently been cold enough that it's been a Good Thing and not just a wake-up.

i've listened to all my old tapes twice now (in the car going to work) and am now listening to other people's. katie wanschura made the best damn mix tapes, from what i can tell so far. occasional lapses of taste, but nothing serious. jonathan's tapes, on the other hand, are more hit-and-miss. or maybe jonathan just had weirder taste than me. (although listening to some of my old tapes, i'm reminded that at one time *i* had weirder taste than me. whatever. it made sense when i thought it.)
