battery dead. left my lights on because my stupid fstarking car doesn't ding when i leave the lights on, and the dash lights aren't bright enough to see. bloody fstarking POS ... rant rant rant. bah.

i feel stupid pointing to someone else's journal, but gareth is having so much fun at BitterCon that i felt obligated to share.

i've found tickets for The Producers for $235 for Satyrday, November 24. i kept looking but everything else i found kept getting more expensive, so i figured i'd quit while i was ahead. that's an awful lot of money. close to christmastime, too. so... probably not. i'll probably be kicking myself in five years, but hey.

jumper cables were only $8, which was nice. car goes now. i had to take a screwdriver to it to get it out of park, but it goes. i would have bought one of those cool sets of jumper cables that comes with its own battery, but advance was out of them.

steph: i'm writing you back now. well, not really, *now* i'm putting it off by writing in my journal, but i'm in the middle of writing you back.

um. yeah. anyone interested in going to see the producers the weekend before thanksgiving? i figure i can probably drive there, have dinner, see the show, and drive home (being nova) and not have to spring for a hotel.

just spent too much money on books... got the new elric book, gormenghast, planet of the apes (the original book)... amusing note: the novelization of the movie ends with marky mark blasting off to go home. as if the writer of the book said "the ending of this movie makes no sense. i'm getting rid of it."
