28 Days Later is not a sequel to 28 Days. Although a movie with Viggo Mortensen having to fight off Zombie Sandra Bullock with his buddy, Steve Buscemi (who gets bitten by Zombie Sandra Bullock and turns into a zombie himself) would be pretty cool.

"There is a Hollywood law requiring fictional characters in such a situation to fall in love, and the penalty for violating it is death at the box office." --Roger Ebert's review of Alex & Emma. I'm finding that I really enjoy reading Ebert's reviews of movies he didn't like. Not the ones he absolutely hated; the vitriol's a little strong there. Just the ones he didn't care much for. "...a Semi-Obligatory Lyrical Interlude, that old standby where they walk through the park, eat hot dogs, etc., in a montage about a great day together. I do not remember if they literally walk through the park or eat hot dogs, but if they don't, then they engage in park-like and hot dog-like activities."

Hulking tonight at seven, with E & Z & whoever else shows up, followed by working 'til 1:30 selling Ugly Blue Books. Then more UBB-selling tomorrow and Sunday. Gah.

I've contemplated doing one of those "make your friends find themselves" lists, but that would require a bit more inspiration than I'm feeling. But so that no one feels left out, I think you're all Good People, and will get through any troubles you have with few scars to show for it.

Off to lunch with E & Z.

You know, that sounds like something that requires action. I'll have to see what I can do.
