Cheating Fruit Machines: "Ever had two cherries on the win line, not held them, then watched the third one drop in on the next spin and thought, 'Damn, if I'd held them I'd have won'? Well, you wouldn't. If you'd held the two cherries, the machine would have dropped in a different symbol. And now we can prove it."

Work 11-7, at least in theory. More likely, work 11-3 or 4, then get sent home because it's slow slow slow.
On the other hand, it's raining out there, and rain drives people into the mall. (I don't really understand it myself. "It's miserable outside! Let's leave the shelter of our house and go hang out with a bunch of other drenched shoppers!")
Yesterday was decent, though. Spent a couple hours outside, watching my allergies slowly act up. Now I remember why I don't go outside much in the summer. Stupid stopped-up nose and itchy eyes.
