The Troubles
May. 5th, 2003 05:54 pmEmily and I have been having some problems lately, and they came to a head around the end of March. I decided that it would be easier all around if I found someplace else to live at least for the summer, if not for good, while I try and sort out a few personal issues. After some agonising over various issues (to include money) and much discussion with E, we decide to try and curtain off the back portion of Patrick's basement and turn it into 'my room.' Today we determine that yes, in fact, my stuff can fit back there and leave enough room for TV space and game space and bookcases and Z's freakin' yooge couch. So, just so we can all stop tiptoeing around the issue, there you have it. E and I are separating, and it may or not end in an actual breakup.
If you don't know any other details, that's because you don't need to, because they're none of your bloody business. If you are intent on learning them anyway, I recommend asking Mr Adam C. Kopczenski, as his door has a sign that reads "Vicious rumours and wild speculation a specialty" and he is pathologically incapable of keeping his fucking mouth shut. Or perhaps he simply interprets simple statements differently from the rest of us. It's possible that he thought "Don't tell Person X this information, as the principals would especially rather s/he not know" meant "Give this information to Person X as soon as humanly possible," and "Don't tell anyone else about this, as it's none of their business" meant "Inform the rest of the world, pronto." I can't really tell, though, because he hasn't responded to any of my attempts at communication for about a month.
