Feb. 2nd, 2003 10:13 pmYeah, so. Stuff.
All Your Subtitles Are Belong To Us: screen captures of a bootleg Asian DVD of The Two Towers, featuring some subtitling on the level of Zero Wing. In the immortal words of Hama the doorwarden, "i cannot allow in front of the king with so many arms."
Friday night watched The Prophecy with Kelly, Ross, and Dave(bob). Despite its flaws (the two main humans, the script in places, the direction in places, the cheesy special effects) I still like it. It's got style. And the three angels that we see for more than a few minutes are spectacular. "Sometimes you just have to do what you're told-- it's who we are." Casting Christopher Walken as Gabriel and Aragorn as Lucifer helps, too.
Satyrday. Shuttle and game day. I feel obligated to note the shuttle, because it's been made into an Event, but it's just not such a big deal to me. Tons of people die every day. Are these seven more worthy than the rest? Game day was fun. Nothing too deep; played some Alibi, some Confrontation.
Today it's been chemlab and Kierkegaard. Yay fun. Now more Kierkegaard.
