mmm. Book fair good. Managed to stop myself from buying two Yeats bios and an expensive ($6) thin Pinkwater book. Only spent $50. Very, very cool. One of these days I'm going to buy the Complete Sherlock Holmes that they have there.

After was the party at Dave&Andy's, which I spent most of talking to the people who went to book fair plus Dave & Kayla. I suppose it was a good party; I really can't tell. I'd rather spend time sitting around talking to five or six people I (am in the process of getting to) know well, than "mingling" with people I don't know. So from my perspective it was quite good.

Yeah. This was an impressively good week. So I went and ruined it by not showing up on time to work (not realising the mall opened an hour earlier). Bleh. Need sleep, need to write F&SF paper, need to study for poetry final tomorrow. Still good to see people, though.

I agree totally, except for the number. I find that I am actually more comfortable talking with one other person, maybe two if they're two that are a lot alike. With lots of people (4 or more) I tend to have a feeling that we should all be doing something, like playing a game.
Of course yesterday I was too tired to play a game, so that was all good. I was perfectly happy to sit there and look at pictures of the moon.
