Game Day. very cool. one of the more consistently fun game days i've had in awhile. it's possible that this is related to not having many people there, but i dunno.
LOTR: The Confrontation is a pretty cool two-player game. it's sort of LOTR Stratego, but each piece (Good and Evil each have nine) has a different power. and when pieces fight you each play a card (face-down, then reveal simultaneously) that might increase the piece's strength, or might do something weird. i'm happy with it.
didn't play werewolf at all. not enough people, really, and a lot left to go to various parties.
andy jackson showed up for awhile at the end. he kicked my butt at go a couple times. then we all played Kill Dr Lucky.

I like the idea of privatizing rants. You know, outsourcing them to private-sector contractors, lowest bidder.
I'm now strongly tempted to, the next time I'm feeling depressed, call someone up and say "Hey, write a LiveJournal post for me about how depressed I am."
