Alright, here's what happened:

I called James Dunson to say hello (it's been awhile since we last talked). Vond and Ross had mentioned the Brhust vs Broost problem. So, as I've found, the best way to bring up something like that with James Dunson is to bring it up directly (but to approach him privately). I said that I'd heard that perhaps people had been pronouncing the new author guest's last name incorrectly. I asked if he knew how to pronounce it and he sounded unsure. So I told him the proper way. And then I sent him this email encouraging him to find out the facts himself and not to just take my word for it.

Subject: I just realized something..

I don't want you saying "lisa" or even "someone" told me the correct way to pronounce Brust.. I think you should check it out on your own :) here's a link to his homepage (and interesting place!) And I highly suggest his Vlad series (where there IS a pronunciation guide for his last name).
