anyway. macbeth was cool, once we got there. the stage-fighting was a little iffy, and some of the blocking seemed designed more for a proscenium than a thrust stage, but in all i'm glad we went.
my paper on _endgame_ proceeds apace. i'm very unimpressed with it, because i feel like i'm ignoring huge amounts of evidence to the contrary. i figure it's about B work, unless the fact that it's short gets held against me. but what do i know?
it's at about the time where i start feeling guilty because i never write anyone anymore, and really ought to do better about that. maybe in a week the feeling will be enough to actually cause me to *do* something about it.
i have managed to install X-COM by copying the CD to my hard drive and then renaming SETUP.EXE so that it didn't give me errors. weird, i know. just don't ask. so i can put off re-OSing for awhile at least.
la. _endgame_ will be finished tonight or tomorrow morning, and then i get to start research for Six Degrees Of Francis Bacon.
