There's for sure a distorting effect when your entire social circle has that much money and a critical mass of no-empathy folks. To the left, I think whassername Bezos's ex-wife who's giving away money, Madison Scott? No, that's a missing teenager from Vanderhoof... MacKenzie Scott. Anyway, I think she provides at least some evidence for the latter.

So, 60-40? 2:1? Something like that, would be my guess. It's possible for the money to not break you but it has to be a conscious choice.
