classes continue, i think

Fee deferral has gone through and I have not yet been dropped from classes. Will see if there are more hoops I need to jump through: I don't see any on repeated inspection of various web portals but it wouldn't surprise me.

I am done with classwork up through ... well, today, really. Which is okay. I deal with Computing homework by grumping about it for several days until I've built up enough steam to just power through whatever this week's nonsense is. Hm, looks like it's "playing with QGIS (open-source GIS software) and javascript". Might not be too bad. Two weeks ago's PHP was particularly obnoxious; last week's "javascript and mapping" was only marginally less so.

I mean, it probably doesn't help that I am feeling the need to Be Extra in both Computing and Python. "Oh, I see how I can make it be a little cooler / a little less wrong"... and there goes another half hour.

Suspect the Dark is getting to me, too. It's at least been sunny the last several days but I think that's due to stop ... tomorrow. Yay.

I read “Suspect the Dark” as some kind of book on the first pass here. I was interested that such a book would get to you so hard and then … duh…

I like it. If it's not a book (it probably is) then it's an indie band that is about two months away from breaking through and three weeks away from breaking up.
