Oct. 8th, 2001 08:34 amWe spraypainted giant cardboard pyramids yesterday. Well, Emily and Adam and Ross did. On the porch. Result: the part of the porch that didn't have newspaper over it is now light blue, thanks to Ross wanting to have 'a light coat' on his and thus holding the spraypaint can a foot or two from the pyramids. in a moderate breeze. Thanks a lot, Ross.
rant, rant, rant.
(You're losing it, Tucker.)
It was actually cold enough this morning to have to scrape the frost off of my car. All last week I was wearing shorts and generally roasting.
In other news...
...watched Heat on friday night. Damned good movie. it's like a season of the best crime drama you can think of, compressed into three hours. "Do not have any attachments, do not have anything you cannot walk out on in thirty seconds flat if you spot the heat around the corner."
(side note: the mexican who's in all those movies is Danny Trejo. former drug addict, did time in san quentin. now he's an actor.
...went to Dixie Caverns on Satyrday. that was pretty neat. there was a huge crap store outside it. Like Snuckey's. "I love crap we don't need-- it's my favorite kind of crap!"
...played Twilight Imperium on Sunday. Really excellent game. Tight all the way to the end, and probably on past that if we hadn't given up for being too tense. Quite cool.
And now work. Yay fun.
