lo, i have returned from my long journey into the lands known as No Va ("it does not go"). gather 'round, my children, and let me share my wisdom with you.

dinner on friday was nice. olive garden. i got to talk to my aunt susan and cousin alice, which is always cool. alice has turned into a real person whem i wasn't looking. (as opposed to being one of a small legion of Younger Cousins. i wonder if anyone on my father's side has developed personality yet?)

satyrday was. drove down to pot. mills and ordered a couch from ikea, and picked up a copy of riven (not from ikea). so now i have something to do that will involve actual _thought_, unlike my job and my class. (why am i not writing at my job? because i can't focus enough with people walking past me and staring at my screen all day.) the wedding was quite short. i'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. my sister looked halfway decent. (this probably means that, to a less jaundiced eye, she looked pretty good. but what do i know?) emily looked great.

we ducked out of the reception early and went over to the looney's, where we playtested games for the forthcoming Icehouse Games Book. that was very cool. then we came back to my parents' place and slept, and got up and went home, where i finished my paper. the end.
