:) thanks! I expect I mostly need to get some distance from it. I really like the characters and the concept, it's just the non-working and probably non-workable climax that's driving me nuts.

(This is more 1980s Bull/De Lint/Borderlands urban fantasy, not the 2000s vampires-and-werewolves kind.)
