And it's not like there's any dearth of interesting things to talk about when one confines oneself to provable documented facts! Or even to speculation at one remove from the facts! *sigh* It's mostly that I was really not expecting, you know, functional adults to still be living out the Illuminatus! trilogy.

(but WHY don't most conversations take place at the same level of erudition i stumbled into in mid-october?)
