jazzfish: an open bottle of ether, and George conked out (Ether George)

Survived a week with E's parents, and a weekend with another set of E's relatives. I have Discharged my Newly Acquired Familial Obligations, for now anyway. Dear gord it is nice to be home and have home not have Other People in it.

Attempted to change a plane reservation only to discover that I'd made it right the first time. Go me. Speaking of which, I will be bumming around Boston from the evening of 10/15 (Satyrday) through the afternoon of 10/18 (Tuesday). I also have intentions of being in the DC area around Veterans' Armistice Rememberance Day: Dar concert Friday night, and probably ABG (with dim sum aforethought) on Satyrday, and other seeing of people as time and scheduling permit.

Today I mostly want to just fall over. Tomorrow I shall actually Accomplish something. Maybe tonight but I'm not holding my breath.

Dar concert? Where would that be?

(yay for surviving not-your-relatives)

They may now be legally your relatives, but you're not *supposed* to have to get along with in-laws, particularly at the times when your spouse doesn't care much for them, either. (um, I keep telling myself this, anyway.)

What is the date on the Dar concert? I would love to see here again if she is in the area. And seeing you wouldn't be bad either. ;)

If you'd like to get together when you're here in November, it would be good to see you. Maybe I'll get a ticket to that show. Never seen her.
