mother's day.

bah. i called my mother yesterday. she's far more palatable when separated by four hours. i wouldn't have bothered, but a) i'd catch hell from my father, and b) i needed to call at some point anyway.

thanks to Google for having a handy reminder that mother's day was coming up.
