There is a large (three or four feet tall) domo-kun with an eyepatch sitting on top of a short filing cabinet at the end of the hall.

Believe you me, that was my first thought. Unfortunately it would require me to have a camera on me. Definitely bringing one in tomorrow, though.

I wonder if they got it at Target. Domo kun was Target's Halloween mascot this year.

A week or so before Halloween, aleph_sub_aleph and I walked into Target, happened to look up, and froze. All over the store, they had big domo-kun posters and hangy-things and were selling plushes. If I had seen a kitten hanging somewhere nearby, I would have fallen over laughing in the middle of the aisle.

I had nearly the same reaction when I walked in on Halloween day. It was "WTF?" moment.
