Discontinued DSL and phone service in old apartment as of 9/1. Was told I'd receive either a final bill or a credit.

Saw no bill. Saw "please come back" letters from Verizon. Figured they'd get to bill eventually. Forgot about it.

Today: notice from collections re Verizon account.

Fucking Verizon. Credit rating already less than stellar due to stupidity from some years ago and never keeping the same address for more than a year.

And this would come on a day when the replacement for the previously mentioned missing package seems to have also gone missing, this time due to the seller's inability to put the correct fucking address on it. If I'm very lucky it got delivered to my nice formerly-across-the-hall neighbors and I can pick it up this evening. If I'm unlucky it got swiped off their doorstep and I get to yell at the seller tomorrow.

Goddamn it.

Have probably disturbed cats (and any neighbors who are home) due to loud obscenities.

It sure do. I was half considering switching cell service to them since people tell me they get better coverage than AT&T. Not so much, now.
