jazzfish: A small grey Totoro, turning around. (Totoro)

Last weekend I was hanging out with [livejournal.com profile] elf and [livejournal.com profile] nixve and [livejournal.com profile] elf, consecutively not concurrently. (Though if the weather had been nicer on Satyrday who knows?)

This weekend [livejournal.com profile] uilos and I will be in B'burg for Technicon, primarily so we can gorge ourselves on gaming. We'll be stopping at Green Valley Book Fair in Harrisonburg on the way back on Sunday; if I had to guess I'd say we'll probably get there around threeish. Come on by.

April 4-10 I'm in Seattle visiting [livejournal.com profile] nixve. [livejournal.com profile] shadowsong, how's Thursday night for y'all? Sunday evening is a vague possibility as well.

The next weekend is [livejournal.com profile] elf's housewarming (or 'declaration of time by which things will be at least somewhat unpacked'), probably preceded by ABG, and also general recovery. The 21st brings [livejournal.com profile] ancientsong's spacewarming and a book sale somewhere in Rockville.

Which brings us up to the 28th of April. I've been making vague noises for months now about having people over to read bits from books and poems and such, and that sounds like it'll be a good evening. Let me know if you're interested, in either reading or just coming to listen.

We will be at the Book Fair on Sunday, but I dunno if it'll be that late.

Ooh, I'd be so interested in doing a reading (I used to hold play readings a lot way back when) but alas, that day/evening is the campout Beltane.

Keep me posted on the next one, pretty please.

O.o

Thursday is fucking crazy - con prep. Are you sure you don't want to just come to Sakuracon on April 9th-11th?

Mmm.... gorging on gaming. I literally have dedicated most of my luggage space to games, with a thin layer of clothing to pad the suitcase. :)

See you tomorrow!

It's cool that you guys can make it down for Tcon. I'd say "let's hang out" but the con is so short staffed that I've been kicked back to Registration. Bleh.

What sort of books do you want folk to read? My typical reading may differ significantly from most of what you'll have. I don't read much poetry, but I do have a book collection of Housman around her somewhere.
