High School Low
Feb. 15th, 2005 10:39 amWhat year was it?
Class of '95.
What were your three favorite bands?
Pink Floyd. Simon & Garfunkel. Counting Crows.
What was your favorite outfit?
Mirrorshades, black t-shirt, denim jacket, jeans, faireboots.
What was up with your hair?
I'm not really sure myself. Short, parted on the right, hairspray to keep the front in place.
Who were your best friends?
Jeff Firestone. Robert Lunsford. Katie Wanschura, in that weird post-break-up way.
What did you do after school?
Avoided going home. Forensics tournaments, or rehearsal for Troupe. Ran for colorguard in the fall; did some actual drama things occasionally as well.
Did you take the bus?
I somehow got to use my father's truck for almost the entirety of senior year.
Who did you have a crush on?
Sarah Schwarm and Shaye Brotherton. Plus a more-or-less permanent crush on Jen Dunham from church.
Did you fight with your parents?
Lord, yes. Stupid stuff, mostly, but not fighting would have been stupider.
Who did you have a CELEBRITY crush on?
I'm not sure I cared who any celebrities were.
Did you smoke cigarettes?
No, though I briefly considered it when I spent too much time hanging out at Dharma.
Did you have a 'clique'?
Several, I think. Sarah Schwarm's drama friends. Marching band/colorguard. Troupe. (Though those last two kind of merged together.) Jack of all social groups, member of none.
Admit it, were you popular?
Among Troupies two years younger than me, yeah.
Who did you want to be just like?
*thinks* Jana Schwartz. Or at least I wanted her life.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I think by that point I'd suppressed the writer urge and decided to become a double-E or CpE.
Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?
Making scads of money as an engineer, having done the co-op thing and graduated college in five years. *snort*
