Never go off on tangents, which are lines that intersect a curve at only one point and were discovered by Euclid, who lived in the 3rd century, which was an era dominated by the Goths, who lived in what we now know as Poland. . .

On the other hand, if you never go off on tangents, you keep going around in circles.

Knowledge and Reality is taught by Dr. Andrea Falcon, a visiting professor from the University of Padua. (Though I don't think he came to wive it wealthily in Padua.) He's a bit dry and a bit hard to understand, but the course looks to be pretty cool. (Grade based entirely on two 3-4 page papers. Provided I can handle the reading, this will be a piece of cake.) Plus his course packet was under ten bucks, so he gets lots of points right there.

Rehearsal last night. Full run-through for the first time in over a week. At my individual session with Barb on Wed night she told me about some of the worse things that I do onstage (I don't move from about the waist up, I talk with my head up so my voice gets caught in the back of my throat, I walk with my shoulders hunched and my head extended out, etc). Tried to correct them. Evidently failed utterly, as there was nothing good to be said about the performance. *shrug* I question whether I have any business being onstage at all, but on the other hand she shouldn't have fucking cast me, now should she? And now with less than three weeks before we go up we're getting pretty significant script changes. Ho boy.

Maureen's found another sub-leaser, so I'm not sure where I'll be living come Monday. Maureen is trying to pack up her stuff here, as well. It's not as hard as I'd been afraid it would be to eat tortellinis with a two-pronged skewer; mostly, I'm just glad I didn't cook little pasta shells instead.

[insert generic whine about money here]

What a shame we carry with us
The residue of fools
Instead of better wisdom
And advanced tools

When I close my eyes
I think it's me
Out on the Look Horizon
Where I found you

Sorry about the lack of forks. I lost my train of thought and packed them all. if you look in the bags at the foot of the coat tree I think you will find some plastic silverware I kept for J.
