All three parody scripts, in one place, because
lemonlye is just that cool.
Sadly, debunking of a previous link: Sir Winston's Daughter Knocks Parrot Claims off Perch. Ah well.
Talking the Edutalk: "My hope is that we're creating language for kids that is more explicit and to the point than it is confusing." --i <3 irony. [all from
skreidle]
Darque Dungeon: Quite funny. Even funnier if you've seen the original.
Signed up for Knowledge and Reality in place of Music Theory. Only it's in the afternoon instead of the morning, and it's in the scary brick building called Randolph instead of the scary brick building called Squires. (Hm. I think that means I get to see the marble-rolling machine tomorrow. Neat.)
Talked to David about classes and such this morning, and after walking to McD's for lunch I still had about forty-five minutes before class. So I sat in the PAB lounge and practiced. Basic butterfly, palm-to-palm transfer, back-to-back transfer; that's about the limit of my Mad Contact Juggling Skillz, but I've about got them cold. Had at least a dozen people make Labyrinthine comments. . . . and for awhile I was, not the center of attention (that many egos, there's not going to be a single center), but attended to. Curious. Maybe having something to do with my hands freed my mind from self-policing; probably had more to do with not having to start the conversation.
Found more pop-tarts with Cat in the Hat UPCs, so I can now have a shirt for
sirleebutler as well. (I'll snag addresses from y'all when the shirts actually arrive. Up to 60 days for delivery, it says.)
