Irregular Webcomic #239: "Are your stormtroopers all highly competent, combat hardened, ruthlessly effective killing machines and expert marksmen?"

They're made of meat: "These creatures are the only sentient race in the sector and they're made out of meat." [from [livejournal.com profile] skreidle]

Cleverness may carry survival costs: "However, when the larvae of the more astute flies were made to compete with ordinary larvae for scarce food, fewer of them survived." This explains so much. . .

Yesterday was decent overall, if a bit tiring. Krispy Kremes for breakfast (thank you [livejournal.com profile] uilos), wandered about downtown for awhile and found a couple Dreamcast games I'd been looking for (Wetrix+ and Mr Driller) plus GameBoy Tetris for E, and Game Day. Lots of Puerto Rico, some Clash of the Gladiators (a Knizia game of building teams of gladiators and watching them die), some Confrontation. Ice cream with K, E, and Andrew. I killed Dr Lucky with a duck decoy. Late dinner at Macados with cool people, during which I discovered that Elfie lives in an abandoned condemned [thanks again [livejournal.com profile] uilos] bank and still serves mail and webpages.

Yeah. A good day. Could have been better, could have been far worse. Today I launder and work; everything else will be figured out from there..

The three links are excellent ;). Specially the meat one. In fact it's one ofe the best short stories I've read recently.
