Blown Minds: "Who might you guess is the earliest president, chronologically, to have a grandchild alive today? Don't cheat. Guess." --wow.

3eanuts: "Charles Schulz's Peanuts comics often conceal the existential despair of their world with a closing joke at the characters' expense. With the last panel omitted, despair pervades all." For the people who enjoyed Garfield Minus Garfield but found it to be a little too upbeat. (See also The Monkeys You Ordered, which replaces the soul-crushing with a great deal of wtfery.)

Chell Nouveau. Very nice. "Your Aperture Science Weighted Companion Cube will never threaten to stab you, and in fact cannot speak. If your Weighted Companion Cube does speak, please disregard its advice."

I actually finished Portal last night, with [personal profile] uilos on the couch behind me snickering at GLaDOS's increasingly desperate psychological warfare ("No one likes you. It says so in your profile: 'a bitter, unlikeable loner whose passing will not be mourned.' That's you. Also, it says you were adopted.") and sympathizing with the ridiculous "how the hell do they expect you to get that?" moment at the very end. Fun times. Portal really needs to be played with an audience, for the full "... did she just say that?" effect.

Everything is getting ridiculously busy and compacted. It feels like there's no possible way I can squeeze everything I want to do into less than a month. Weekends in particular are now booked solid through June, which is a bit of a problem since it's not like an impending move is going to reduce my need for downtime and recovery at all. Hrm.
