You wouldn't think that having no hot water for tea in the morning would be such a big deal. Run cold water in the cup, nuke for three minutes instead of just one. Still, it seems to have thrown me off my stride a bit. The tea tastes funny as well.

From [livejournal.com profile] baranoouji, the obvious question.

Tried on a few pairs of Vibram Five Fingers on Sunday. Determined that a size 43 is wide enough but too long, and a 42 is too narrow and still too long. So I'm pretty much out of luck there until Vibram decides to start catering to short and wide feet. Pity. They were kind of fun to walk around the store in. They also reaffirmed my dislike of loud obnoxious Velcro on shoes. I suppose the whole idea of the VFFs is that one won't be taking off one's shoes as often.

There are several people in the office with iPhones now. Every time I hear someone get a text message I keep expecting it to be followed with Avast's "Virus database has been updated."
