Been having lots of odd dreams lately. . . like, two a night for the last three or four nights in a row. As I generally only dream ('scuse me, "remember dreaming") twice a week at most, this is new and different. Not sure whether the dreams themselves are new and different, although for the first time I've been someone other than myself in a dream. (Lucifer, if you must know. As myself I recruited Lucifer to break into a well-guarded house to steal something, and then I became Lucifer and broke in. Did a pretty poor job of it, too.)

If I crank the resolution up to 640x480 I can read email and LJ without my contacts. This is only useful because I'm trying to minimise the amount of time I spend in said contacts, since the right one is starting to cause problems. I think in a few minutes I'm going to go try and find my missing lens again.

Audition tomorrow, for Offending the Audience. I think I'm one of three people showing up, for two parts. And I'm not entirely sure I want the part: it's a really weird play. But still.

It's really hard to find anything in dry powdery snow, let alone a transparent half-dollar-sized piece of plastic. I tried dropping my sunglasses just to see how hard it was going to be to find anything, and if I'd not been watching closely I'd never have found them again either. Sheesh. So, no vision without contacts for me for another week and a half.

The weather was gorgeous, though. I could do with about a week of subfreezing temperatures, get the water all nice and solid, but the sunlight was good to have today.

Other than that I did basically nothing today. Laundered. Determined that the dryer does, in fact, suck as much as advertised. (Or maybe I just overloaded it, and what's a largeish load for the washer is too much for the dryer to handle.) Enjoyed a day of being basically by myself. Read a bit. Wrote a bit.

. . . and now whoever lives next door, or maybe upstairs, has started up their music. Goddammit, I'd forgotten how much I detest this aspect of apartment living.
