brief update
Sep. 19th, 2003 04:17 pm3rd Annual Nigerian EMail Conference: "Like most Nigerians, you're probably finding that it's increasingly difficult to earn a decent living from email. That's why you need to attend the 3rd Annual Nigerian EMail Conference."
Alone with the Man in Black: "He did say one thing I remember: 'You have to be what you are. Whatever you are, you gotta be it.' And I came out realising that I didn't want to be a journalist any more."
Plasma blobs hint at new form of life: "But if Mircea Sanduloviciu and his colleagues at Cuza University in Romania are right, the theory may have to be completely revised. They say cell-like self-organisation can occur in a few microseconds."
Avast there!: "In the spirit of this wonderful example of pointless American innovation, and in hopes of getting anyone to actually pay attention to them, the candidates have agreed to answer questions tonight in the manner of a pirate captain."
Gareth was amusing on both Wednesday and Thursday.
So, having taken the crush quiz thing,I am kind of amused to discover that about one-eighth of my friendslist is 'ex-crush.'
The only used bookstore in B-burg is closing (again) on Satyrday the 27th. I have no idea if this means that the 27th is its last day or the 26th. Hoping for the 27th so I can wander in there during Game Day.
Not going to Pennsylvania, finished my drama paper, got a 90 on the Geography test, and picked up Endless Nights, the new Sandman book. (It rocks, and now I want to reread all of Sandman.) Life's been good to me so far.
Off to work.
