Today I was useful. Sort of. Picked up four months worth of comics from Beholder's Eye, returned two Kierkegaard books to Tech Bookstore (yay employee discounts at Walden) and got Cecil Adams's The Straight Dope for my father's birthday, and mailed out a number of packages. They're not even Epiphany gifts anymore. Imbolc, I guess. Or maybe just randomly-arriving stuff.

Didn't get any reading done, but that's okay-- the class hasn't caught up to where I am in Sickness yet. I'll work on it tomorrow.

Read the 100 Bullets issues I picked up. People with any interest in modern comics at all are doing themselves a disservice by not reading this book. It's sufficiently Machiavellian that I'm not sure if even Graves knows all of what's happening. The premise for the book started out with "If someone gave you a gun and a hundred completely untraceable bullets, along with proof that someone had ruined your life, what would you do?" but that's only a part of the sprawling story. Excellent, excellent stuff. And the trade paperbacks are coming out at a decent rate (unlike Transmetropolitan, which is sadly finished).

Hmm. And apparently Brian Azzarello is no longer writing Hellblazer. That book has gone through more writers in the last fifteen years...

Huh. The Semagic client very intelligently puts all the post options at the bottom, instead of in a separate dialog. So I may actually start having moods again. Too bad "anticipation" isn't on the list.

Another hour or so before the reading. Anticipation runs high.

Yeah. That sounds about right.
